Enlargement comes from God.
In your pursuit of growth and fulfillment, it is crucial to recognize that true enlargement comes from God. God desires for you to expand and enlarge beyond your current limits and step into the abundant life He has prepared for you.
1 Chronicles 4:10, Jabez calls out to God, saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” God granted Jabez’s request, demonstrating His willingness to bless and expand those who seek Him.
This story illustrates a fundamental principle: nothing can expand without a connection to its source. Jabez realized that his connection to God was the foundation for his expansion. He sought God’s blessing, acknowledging that without divine intervention, growth and enlargement would be impossible. This principle holds in every aspect of your life. The foundation for expansion is connection. Just as a tree’s branches cannot grow without being connected to the trunk, you cannot grow and enlarge unless you are connected to your source; God.
Your connection to God is vital for your spiritual, emotional, and even physical expansion. When you remain rooted in Him, you draw the necessary nourishment, wisdom, and strength needed to grow. Jesus emphasized this truth in John 15:5, stating, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” This connection is the lifeline for your enlargement and the key to unlocking your full potential.
