Scriptures: Proverbs 4:20, Hebrews 13:5-6, 4:14, Mark 11:23
Faith is more than just a word; it’s a powerful force that demands action. Many people proudly declare their faith, and while that’s commendable, the true proof of faith lies in your actions. As James 2:17 states, “Faith without works is dead.”
Faith that is not accompanied by action is immature. God seeks individuals whose faith has reached a boiling point, faith that is so strong and fervent it propels you into victorious living. This is the kind of faith that moves mountains (Mark 11:23).
Faith is believing that you have the answer now, not sometime in the future. It provides you with definite results because it sees the answer as already having happened. Consider Romans 4:17, where it is written that God “calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” This is exemplified in Hebrews 11:11, where Sarah, despite her old age, received strength to conceive because she judged God faithful who had promised.
To see God’s promises manifest in your life, you must come to a point where you are fully convinced that God can and will do what He has said. As Proverbs 4:20 advises, “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.” When we do this, your faith surcharges God’s power, releasing it into your life
Unfortunately, many people struggle to believe that God will fulfill His promises. This disbelief is often evident in their behavior. However, Isaiah 46:10 reassures us that God declares “the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done,” reminding us that His plans will stand.
In Hebrews 13:5-6, you are reminded of God’s unwavering commitment to you: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Therefore, we can boldly say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
In conclusion, faith is seeing the answer as already accomplished. It is a confident trust that God’s promises are true and will come to pass. As we grow in our faith, let’s strive to reach that boiling point where our faith activates God’s power, bringing His promises to life in our daily experiences.
FAITH SEES THE ANSWER
